The last American battleship, the USS Missouri, which is the length of 3 American football fields and the height of a 20 story building, was the first to participate in the Korean war on June 25, 1950. Take a guided tour with one of our Korean speaking tour guides which is included with your general admission ticket. You will be given the history of this famous battleship, then taken to the 2nd deck of the Missouri. You will see the location of Japan's unconditional surrender, which ended World War II on September 2, 1945. You can explore the ship further and get a glimpse of how sailors lived while out at sea during the war.
